Det melodiösa hårdrocksbandet Kaasin har skrivit på för bolaget Pride & Joy Music inför släppt av deras debutplatta, som dyker upp senare i år. Så här går att läsa i ett pressmeddelande:

PRIDE & JOY MUSIS is thrilled to announce the signing of Norwegian Classic Rock band KAASIN! The group was founded by guitarist, JO HENNING KAASIN, collaborator with JOE LYNN TURNER (Deep Purple/Rainbow), GLENN HUGHES (Deep Purple/Black Sabbath), DOOGIE WHITE (Rainbow/Michael Schenker), BERNIE MARSDEN (Whitesnake), founding member, guitarist and songwriter with COME TASTE THE BAND.

After 23 years and great success with the album «REIGNITION», feat. JOE LYNN TURNER & DOOGIE WHITE, COME TASTE THE BAND was put on ice in January 2020. Guitarist and main songwriter, JO HENNING KAASIN, then went on to form his own band, simply called KAASIN. He recruited his cousin, STAALE KAASIN from SPIDER and 2020VISION, to handle bass. The band also features the norwegian singer, JAN THORE GREFSTAD, known for his incredible vocal duties with SAINT DEAMON, HIGHLAND GLORY and TNT. KAASIN also includes additional musicans, BENJAMIN DEHLI on hammond organ/analog synth and CHRIS BRUSH on drums.

KAASIN released their debut singles «Runaway Train» and «Revelation» last year which both turned out to become a big success on Spotify with 150K+ streams. «RUNAWAY TRAIN» also went Top 10 on rock radio stations in France, UK, Sweden and Norway.The trio is aiming for a release of the yet untitled debut album for later 2021 via PRIDE & JOY MUSIC.KAASIN is: Jo Henning Kaasin – guitar; Jan Thore Grefstad – vocals; Staale Kaasin – bassAdditional musicans: Benjamin Dehli – organ & keyboards; Chris Brush – drums
