Brother Firetribe meddelar via sin facebook-sida att man håller på att spela in material till ett kommande album. Hösten 2020 gav man ut sin senaste skiva ”Feel The Burn” via bolaget Odyssey Music. Precis som på förra plattan jobbar man tillsammans med Jimmy Westerlund från One Desire.

Den 14:e april släpper det melodiösa rockbandet Aliados från Peru debutalbumet ”Get Off My Life” via bolaget Kivel Records. Här nedan kan man lyssna in sig på plattans titelspår.

Aliados is the latest edition to the KIVEL RECORDS , and will satisfy you as they give you a taste of their brand of Peruvian melodic hard rock. Det melodiösa rockbandet Vypera har släppt en ny singel vid namn ”Standing On The Edge”, som finns att hitta digitalt via bland annat Spotify. Bandet som är hemmahörande i Sandviken består av medlemmarna Andreas Wallström (sång), Christoffer ”Poppe” Thelin (gitarr), Andreas Andersson (bas) och Johan Pettersson (trummor).

I slutet på förra året släppte man även singeln ”Danger”.

Sångaren Dan Lucas (Karo) har skrivit på för bolaget Pride & Joy Music inför släppet av hans nya album, som väntas se dagens ljus i oktober. Så här går att läsa in ett pressmeddelande:

DAN LUCAS! DAN LUCAS is currently working on a brand new solo album – his first solo release since 1996 – which will be completed soon. Three singles will be issued in advance to the yet untitled album which is scheduled for a release on October 22nd, 2021.

Dan Lucas comments: “I´m very happy and grateful to release my new album with songs, which tell a lot about my life so far, on Pride & Joy Music!”

About the artist:

DAN LUCAS first came to fame in the German Democratic Republic during the early 80’s as the front man of different successful German Rock groups. After his escape from the GDR, he moved to West Berlin where he soon became the singer of classic German Hard Rock group KARO who released the album “Heavy Birthday” (Frontrow/ Warner) in 1988 and went on tour with MEAT LOAF. After the split of KARO in 1989, LUCAS moved to Munich in 1990.

During the following years, he put out two solo albums under the name of DAN LUCAS on the Canadian label Marloboro Music, i.e. “Canada” in 1992 and “2000!” in 1995. The hit single “Heart Of America” from the “Canada” album, which was recorded in Vancouver, Canada with musicians from LOVERBOY and Manny Charlton (NAZARETH) participating, was used for a McDonald’s commercial later on. In 1993, LUCAS won the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey with the track “Canadian Dream”. Numerous guests including Robin Beck, Lisa Dalbello, John Pierce, Kane Roberts, Michael Landau & Reb Beach appeared on the “2000!” release. This record was recorded in Burbank, California and includes the track “Close Your Eyes And Say Goodbye” which LUCAS wrote together with Desmond Child. In 1996, the singer changed to the Arcade label which put out the album “News” in the same year.

In 2018/2019, DAN LUCAS won the casting show “Voice Of Germany Senior” which brought him massive attention both from fans and media alike. In the following time, he joined the Rock Meets Classic 2019 tour and released a cover version of JOURNEY’s smash hit “Don’t Stop Believin’” via Universal Music Germany.

Right now, DAN LUCAS is working on the completion of his upcoming Rock solo album which will be released on Pride & Joy Music in Autumn 2021.

Det nya bandet Blue Mountain har nu släppt singeln ”She”, som är första smakprovet från EP:n ”One”, som kommer att ges ut i maj. Bandet utgörs av Hans Birger Andersson (sång) Joachim Nilsson (gitarr), Ulf Nilsson (bas) och Torbjörn Jonsson (trummor). Medverkar på singeln gör även gitarristen Sven Larsson. Finally, PROUD is back after 36 years, stronger than ever, with ten new powerful songs!

PROUD were founded in Landskrona, Sweden in 1982. They started as BURN and were one of many, countless Hard Rock bands that came in the mid-80s. The group changed their name over to PROUD and made an album for EMI which was produced by Caj Högberg (“Fire Breaks the Dawn”). This album is a rare and often elusive title making it an essential purchase when stumbling upon by fans of classic rock/metal of the 1980s. “Fire Breaks the Dawn” achieved success in Japan and parts of South America both.

In 2019, two of the original band members decided to make a new start! Songwriting and recording took place and soon a new record deal was signed with AOR Heaven.

“Second Act” was recorded and engineered by Richard Larsson at Handsome Hard Studio 1 and 2, produced by PROUD, mixed and mastered by Erik Mårtensson at Mass Destruction Production and additionally mixed by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room.
