Fredagen den 25:e augusti släpper sångaren Michael Catton (Tainted Lady) nya singeln “Livin’ Lovin’“, som är tredje smakprovet från hans kommande solodebut. Så här går att läsa i ett pressmeddelande via bolaget Mighty Music:

“Livin’ Lovin’” is the latest single from the solo career of MICHAEL CATTON, the former vocalist of Tainted Lady who recently teamed up with Danish guitar player and producer Soren Andersen to record his debut solo album.

“Livin’ Lovin’” is a high-octane, pedal-to-the-metal rocker filled to the brim with 80’s guitar riffs, wailing vocals, and a thundering rhythm section. It is the embodiment of everything the 1980s rock scene had to offer, and perfectly displays Catton’s love of the genre and how it has shaped him as an artist.

“The glam metal era of the late 80s had a huge impact on me when I was first getting into rock as a teenager. Bands like Whitesnake, Winger, Steelheart – they had the best riffs, the best solos, the best singers. They were a huge influence on both myself and the song’s co-writers Soren Andersen and my brother Chris, and I think that shines through in the music” Catton says. “The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a life fueled by adrenaline, living on the edge at full speed, all in an effort to avoid the anxiety, doubt and distress that will inevitably catch up the moment you slow down. “Livin’ Lovin’” gives the listener a chance to let go of all their troubles and join me on this turbocharged rock and roll journey”.

“Livin’ Lovin’” will be a part of Michael Catton’s debut album, to be released later this year.
