Da Vinci släpper ”nytt” album i april

Fredagen den 24:e april släpper bolaget Vanity Music Group albumet ”Unfinished Business” med det norska AOR bandet Da Vinci. Så här går att läsa i ett pressmeddelande gällande den kommande releasen:
One would think that two top flight albums for Mercury Records would have set Norwegian hard rock darlings DA VINCI on their way to international fame and fortune … or at least recognition. Unfortunately, while they were quite triumphant in their homeland and in Japan, success on a grand scale escaped the band and after their second album the quintet parted ways.
Recently, keyboard player, Dag Selboskar decided that, after both albums had been reissued a number of times, it was time for the public to hear the music that never saw the light of day as well as alternate versions of some of the album tracks. Digging through closets and dresser drawers the original masters of material the band had been working on when they split were located and final touches were added in Selboskar’s home studio with assistance from Alien and Swedish Erotica bassist Ken Sandin lending a hand. After more than thirty years, DA VINCI may not be Back in Business but they are delivering some ’Unfinished Business’ for your enjoyment. (I don’t like ”for your enjoyment” and will replace it).
